The One Who Is Beloved

The One Who Is Beloved

When I met her my wife was an oncology nurse mixing chemo drugs and administering them to cancer patients.  She was beloved by her patients and was showered with gifts while other nurses were not.
After five years of administering chemo with 60 cc syringes she developed pain running up and down her hand, wrist and arm.  She was forced to retire from oncology And her Worker’s compensation doctor suggested surgery to her wrist.  All they did was prescribe her opioids and surgery.  She was not happy with the Western Medical options that were presented to her.
We went to Hawaii on vacation in 2011.  We stayed in a vacation rental in a local community on the Big Island in the Puna District. The energy On the Coastline of the eastern slope of the volcano was palpable. Kapoho, Hawaii.  No hotels or resorts.  Orchid farms, agriculture and yoga retreats.
She was exposed to alternative healing remedies.  Watsu massage, yoga, herbal remedies and the cleanest air In the world.  She began her healing journey and discovered eastern medicine.  That was 2011.  We returned in 2012, February 2013 and we were married with 35 guests in attendance in October 2013.
This summer she completed her Masters in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.  She is now in a Doctorate program.  Next year she will be a doctor of Chinese Medicine.

We just celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary. This ring is in celebration of her 45th birthday. Thank you for all of your hard work.
Update:
