The One Who Is Reborn

"When life turns out differently then expected you learn the important things in life. You learn who you can trust, what you can handle, and how to be better through and after the crisis. No one plans for a failed marriage, let alone to be abandoned and never spoken to again. It’s through the deep pits where you figure out what you are made of and the person you truly are. A year after my husband walked out of our home, I made the choice to choose myself and to choose joy.

I had decided to be re-baptized in my church after the year of hell I had walked through. It meant so much to me to have something symbolic to symbolize rebirth and a fresh beginning. I had told my closest girlfriend I would be purchasing a Fred and Far ring to remind myself of this day and the choice I was making. After the baptism, she handed me a small box as a surprise gift. Astonished, my closest friends had decided to celebrate me and the new life I had with this ring. It’s moments like these when your tribe is circling you and loving on you, that your realize the power of your worth.  No individual person can define you, no circumstance can enslave you; you are who you create. My ring symbolizes that I have chosen to remember every single day that I am worth it and loved indefinitely."
